The Characters

We decided the best way to keep our interest and that of the fans of the original Gemville, would be to fast forward, but keep the old rules as much as possible.  Our custom content folder is somewhat larger than last time, so we have more to play with!

So let us introduce you to the families! (This will be updated as new families arrive and current families expand)

Kym AKA Liquid Vamp's Familes:

The Ebony's:

Sid [Obsidian] Ebony, was the son of Chara [Charoite] and Onyx [Black Onyx] Ebony of the original Gemville.  He went to university in Gem City, where he met his wife Nyxie [Onyx].  Together they have three children; Spyder Web [Spider Web Jasper], Aggie [Striped Agate] & Lake Syd "Syd" [Snowflake Obsidian].

Sid has followed in his mother's lineage and become a witch (as are the rest of the family).  His parents are retired and currently reside in Gem City.  His sisters Tanzine and Jet own a spa in Gem City and his youngest sister Lepi has just finished university and has moved back with Chara and Onyx.

 

The Petrel's:

Amy [Amethyst], her husband Larimar and their twin girls Patricia [Apatite] and Trina [Ametrine].  Amy is a well known aritist and has her own gallery in Gemville.  Larimar (a former athlete) has opened a gym, where he also sells fitness equipment at low prices for use at home.  Amy and Larimar are very business minded and wish to open more businesses around Gemville.

Patricia and Trina have their father's taste for athleticism and while both are enrolled in dance classes, Patricia would really like to follow in her father's footsteps and become a famous athlete.

The Forest's:

 Malachite Forest was ecstatic when his best friend Zoi Ruby [Ruby in Zoisite] agreed to move in with him.  He's been trying to pluck up the courage for a long time to ask her out, but isn't sure if she feels the same.

He owns a DIY shop in Gemville.

The Salmon's:

Morgan (Morganite) is a single mom, trying to bring up three kids; Rosi [Rhodochrosite], Don [Rhodonite] and Urma [Pink Tourmaline], and run a business.  She always loved kids, and wants to make the kids of Gemville happy with her custom made toys.

The Ambrato-Denim's:

Topazia [Topaz] has been having a rough time of it lately.  Once a renound baker in Italy, her husband ran off with some tart (Citrine Gold, she thinks she was called) and left her with her three children; Amber, Miele di Jade [Honey Jade] and Coral [Golden Coral].  With the memories of betrayal too much for her to cope with in Italy, she moved to Gemville where she met her husband Dumort [Dumortierite] and had her fourth child; Blu Pietra [Blue Goldstone].  Of course, things never have a happy ending...
Miele di Jade was a Daddy's girl, and can't accept the fact that her Dad didn't want her interrupting his new found "happiness".  She resents her mother taking her away from all her friends and refuses to talk to Dumort, full stop, despite his attempts to get to know her.
Coral is not happy about no longer being the youngest and hates her new baby sister with a passion.  And poor Amber is in the middle trying to keep the peace between everyone.
